Been Tagged.....again!

Thanks Buj for this.....

1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages)

a Scandalous Life........by Mary S. Lovell

2. Open the book to page 123.
Yes Boss!

3. Find the fifth sentence.

"She knew that she could never again make her home in England; nor, after her divorce, would she ever be allowed to live in Germany."

4. Post the next three sentences.

"But she was at peace with her family and was going into the future with her beloved Spiros and darling Leonidas. The parting from her parents had been hard, for she worshipped her father, her 'dearest Babou' who always forgave her transgressions, her 'sweet' Madre' who never wavered in her love for her daughter, and Edward whose career and future had been blighted by Jane's scandals. All knew it would be a long time before they met again."

Brynjolf realized in a minute what he had done, but by then it was too late. The other two men in blue had come rushing up when they heard the commotion, and they were standing open-mouthed and staring.

ah oops.. indeed you did tell me then ya CG.. but i still would have read about it, but from you directly :)

Guardianesque is like balsamic vinegar.. a touch is acceptable, but a few extra drops will only make the salad taste yummy!

Why do they have to be "jane's" scandals.
I can tell you the jayne with a y , may not be amused.
thanks for tagging me.hehehhehe

Kaya....grrrr...THE reason they have to be 'Janes scandals' is because the book (a scandalous life)is a biography of Jane Digby, who would have been better suited to life in this century.

Btw Kaya, I was quoting from the book you dimwat.

Kaya...no negatives...sorry. Me only dooos the positive stuff.

i*........well I am not a great reader like Buj, but I do like to keep a book or two on the go. Right now I am reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert....a very WOW book, but then I saw her on Oprah and I just had to read her story. In my bag is Paulo Coelho, 'Like the flowing river', which is a collection of short stories, or reflections as he likes to call them. It is ok when waiting in a queue. His writing is starting to grate on me a little bit.....he seems to discover way too much about life and people, or else he has an amazing imagination. I am just not buying into his blurb as much as before.

A scandalous life is fantastic, a must read for a gal like you*.
