Go to Choithrams and buy 4 sticks of rhubarb.
Come home and chop it into 1 inch pieces.
Put in a saucepan with a couple of tablespoons of water and the same of sugar. Let it simmer for 15 minutes.
In a bowl chop up 1/2 pack of unsalted Lurpak, add to that a few handfuls of plain flour and rub them together until you have a breadrumby mix. add 2 desert spoons of castor sugar and a sprinkling of cinnamon.
Put the oven on to 150 c.
Grease a glass dish and place rhubarb mix in it. On top throw the breadcrumby stuff. Dot a bit of butter on top if you like.
Chuck in the oven for 40 mins, and make some custard.
Sit down in front of the telly and devour. Forget you are in Dubai. Forget all about flipflops. Forget that the Minister of Education was short-changed when he was at school. Forget to eat a main course. Forget that everything is crap except for the scrummy bowl of crumble n' custard on your lap.

OOOOOoohhhh, love it! Thx for the recipe, nice to read but I will never make the effort to do it myself...If only I had some hot crumble right now yum yum yum sounds nice! Ummm I prefer apple crumble, rhubarb is kind of weird, I mean look at its name...Nice 1, thx for sharing!
Don't Crumble!
I'm on my way:)
Served with thick custard, it goes down a bloody treat! If you leave it in the oven for a bit longer, the juice from the rhubabrb comes to the top & leaks onto the actual crumble topping. It goes all thick & gooie, but it tastes divine!
